Rougon 5th grade students in Mrs. Valerie's class are working with partners to analyze the text in the book, Shutting Out The Sky. This Guidebooks Unit novel has students learning about trimphs and hardships of immigrants living in the tenements of New York in the early 1900s. Students are all smiles for the class picture when the work is done!
