
Wake up Wildcats... it's game day!! The Valverda Kittens started the day with the help of some of the Wildcat football players and the Prowlers Dance Team. The rain didn't stop our fun! We are ready for a great day and a great night cheering on our Wildcats in the Jungle! Come out to support our team!

Nostalgia Alert for Grandparents! Students enjoyed listening to Fats Domino's 1959 hit, "Blueberry HIll" in Mrs. Templeton's 4th grade English class at STEM.
Pointe Coupee teachers have the power to get students motivated to learn! In today's reading lesson, the song played a role in the development of the character's experience. Hearing the tune helped to explain how the author's use of language helps the reader undersand what the character is experiencing. After listening, students read with partners about Barry's experience during hurricane Katrina and how dad keeps calm during stressful times.


The Balfour rep will be an our high schools Thursday morning fitting kids & passing out order forms for their lettermen jackets. All retuning athletes should check with their coach to see if they met the Athletic Lettermen requirements.

Arbor Clinic will be there conducting important health and dental screenings for each participant. We will have snacks, a light lunch, and many giveaways!
