All Pointe Coupee Parish Public Schools and the District Office will be closed Tuesday, November 5, 2024 for the Presidential Election.

Fall Break for students in Pointe Coupee Parish Public Schools will begin Monday, October 14th! Students will return to school on Thursday, October 17th. All schools in the district will be open on Tuesday from 11:00-6:30 for scheduled Parent-Teacher Conferences. We hope everyone has a great fall break!

Senior Sunrise 2024! Our seniors spent the morning with one another making memories! LHS Alumni, Owen Thompson, was a guest speaker with a great message for the future. Livonia and STEM students particiapted in the College and Career Fair today.Students were able to meet with many college recruiters from our state to discuss post secondary options and what their school has to offer. Several Businesses also attended to promote the workforce and answer questions that students had about becoming independent adults. It is never too early to talk to your student about planning for their future!

All Pointe Coupee Parish Public Schools and the District Office will be closed on Wednesday, September 11th and Thursday, September 12th.
In addition, all after school activities will be canceled today- Tuesday, September 10th.
We will evaluate the storm damage on Thursday and keep you updated, should plans change based on school areas in our parish.
Students will continue instruction following our continuous learning plans; however, there will be no negative consequences should students not be able to complete the work assigned due to loss of power or storm damage.
To stay informed, please monitor our Website, PCPSB APP notifications, and/or the Alert Text/Call Messaging for updates. You should also follow Pointe Coupee School District on social media and keep up with local news broadcasts for the latest information.

Wake up Wildcats... it's game day!! The Valverda Kittens started the day with the help of some of the Wildcat football players and the Prowlers Dance Team. The rain didn't stop our fun! We are ready for a great day and a great night cheering on our Wildcats in the Jungle! Come out to support our team!
Nostalgia Alert for Grandparents! Students enjoyed listening to Fats Domino's 1959 hit, "Blueberry HIll" in Mrs. Templeton's 4th grade English class at STEM.
Pointe Coupee teachers have the power to get students motivated to learn! In today's reading lesson, the song played a role in the development of the character's experience. Hearing the tune helped to explain how the author's use of language helps the reader undersand what the character is experiencing. After listening, students read with partners about Barry's experience during hurricane Katrina and how dad keeps calm during stressful times.

The Balfour rep will be an our high schools Thursday morning fitting kids & passing out order forms for their lettermen jackets. All retuning athletes should check with their coach to see if they met the Athletic Lettermen requirements.
