In addition to the newly expanded summer feeding options, SUN Bucks help fill that gap by providing grocery benefits to help families put meals on the table when schools are closed. SUN Bucks will provide families with $120 for each eligible school aged child to buy groceries during the summer break. This program is through DCFS and not through the school system. Pointe Coupee Schools and the District Office will be closed tomorrow, May 14, 2024 due to weather related issues parishwide. Please stay off the roads and stay safe!


Students at all schools in the District will be dismissed at 1:00pm on Graduation Day- this Wednesday- to allow time for faculty, staff, and students to attend the ceremony at the LSU Assembly Center.

Livonia students in Mr. Chenevert's class were able to help Rougon with the awards for the Sugar Rush 5K. The awards will be painted to look like lollipops and given to all age group winners. Rougon appreciates the collaboration with LHS, and they are very thankful for the students who volunteered their time to the project!


Rougon's studious fifth graders in Mrs. Valerie's class are learning about the Native American culture of the Ojibwa tribe while working through their 1st ELA unit called The Birchbark House. Studnets worked with partners to find text evidence for their writing activity.
