The new book vending machine has our students excited about reading! With the help of school fundraisers and a generous donation by Richard and Claire Manship, students at Rougon are strengthening their reading skills by increasing their independent reading time. To get books from the vending machine, students use tokens, which are earned by achieving the highest Accelerated Reader points in their grade level. The more books students read, the more points they can earn. This innovative and creative initiative fosters a love for reading and encourages literacy in an engaging way.
