SMA Boys Middle School Soccer Tryouts will be held on Wednesday, October 8 at 5:00 PM at False River Park. Players should bring two shirts: one black and one white, as well as their own soccer ball if possible. All players are required to wear shin guards during the tryouts. While soccer cleats will eventually be needed, it is acceptable for players to participate without them for the tryout. Each player should also bring their own water. The tryout is open to all students in grades 6–8.

Tomorrow, October 1st, is Patrick Queen Day at SMA! To celebrate, students may wear Livonia, LSU, Baltimore Ravens, or Pittsburgh Steelers attire and/or colors. All proceeds from the Dollar Dress event will go directly towards purchasing new footballs, cones, and flags for recess and PE. We also invite everyone to join us for a very special evening tomorrow at 6:00 PM as we host our stadium dedication ceremony right here at SMA.

We are excited to remind you that Meet the Eagles Open House is tomorrow, September 24, from 6:00–7:30 PM.

The evening will kick off in the gymnasium with a general assembly from 6:00–6:30 PM, where families will hear important updates and information. Following the assembly, parents and guardians will have the opportunity to:

*Meet their child’s teachers to learn more about classroom expectations and upcoming opportunities for student success.
*Visit and shop at the Book Fair. (Book Fair Times 5:00-6:00PM and 6:30-7:30PM).

This special event is a wonderful opportunity for families to connect with our faculty and staff, strengthen home–school partnerships, and engage in their child’s educational journey.

SMA Virtual Learning Day: 9/22/25 Students in grades 3–6 will be assigned a paper-and-pencil activity to complete at home. Students in grades 7–12 will be expected to complete assignments either on the computer or on paper, depending on their specific class requirements.

All students should now have their ID card with a lanyard attached. Students who did not receive an ID during the first distribution were given theirs today. The first ID card is free, but replacement cards will cost $6. Students are strongly encouraged to wear their ID every day, as it not only supports campus safety but also provides free entry into most SMA athletic events! 🧡🦅💜
