Good afternoon,
All Pointe Coupee buses going to the Innis and Lettsworth areas may be late due to an overturned 18 wheeler at the corner of Gayden Rd (LA 1) and Purpera Road. If your student lives in this area you can expect a delayed afternoon arrival from the bus if the area has not been cleared by the time buses get to this area.

Good afternoon, STEM bus 163 is running late today. These students left school at 3:30 on a different bus because 163 had a flat in the school parking lot. Students will arrive home about 10 minutes later than usual.

Juniors and Seniors will take the ACT test tomorrow at STEM! Parents please encourage your student to get a good night's rest and be at school on time tomorrow! Students must charge their computer tonight and bring it with their charger to school. This test determines your child's eligibility for TOPS. See the flyer for details on how imprtant it is to get a composite score of 20! Seniors have three more test dates to reach those composite scores for the highest TOPS possible! Juniors must make at least a 20 composite to be able to leave school mid day as a senior! Good luck to all our Juniors and Seniors!

Juniors and Seniors who are taking the ACT will come home with a letter regarding the date of testing. Please view the letter to determine which day your child will test. Students will test March 11th or March 24th. It is important for students to be at school and on time on the testing date! Students must score a minimum of 20 on the ACT to be eligible for TOPS at a four year university in Louisiana. Please disucss the importance of this test with your child! The higher they score the more money they earn for college!
