🇺🇸 Veterans Day Celebration Dress-Up Day 🇺🇸 To show our support for our Veterans Day Celebration tomorrow, students are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue according to their grade level! Shirts may be worn with non-uniform bottoms. 3rd, 6th, 9th, 12th – Red 4th, 7th, 10th – White 5th, 8th, 11th – Blue Let’s come together in patriotic colors to honor our veterans and show our SMA pride!

Good evening Eagle families. Tomorrow kicks off our first PBIS Free Dress Day for November! Students who did not receive a write-up during the month of October may participate! PBIS Status: If a student received an official write-up, a discipline letter was sent home and returned signed by a parent. Students can also check their discipline status by accessing their OnCourse account. Sorry for the late communication. I wanted to make sure everyone received the reminder.

In honor of Veterans Day, we are hosting a special breakfast to celebrate the local heroes within our SMA family. If you have a family member who is a veteran and would like to attend, please complete the form below.

Students will have the opportunity to enjoy breakfast with their veteran family members as we honor their service and sacrifice. After breakfast, our honored veterans will move to the gymnasium for a celebration with the entire student body. We look forward to celebrating together!

SMA Boys Middle School Soccer Tryouts will be held on Wednesday, October 8 at 5:00 PM at False River Park. Players should bring two shirts: one black and one white, as well as their own soccer ball if possible. All players are required to wear shin guards during the tryouts. While soccer cleats will eventually be needed, it is acceptable for players to participate without them for the tryout. Each player should also bring their own water. The tryout is open to all students in grades 6–8.

Tomorrow, October 1st, is Patrick Queen Day at SMA! To celebrate, students may wear Livonia, LSU, Baltimore Ravens, or Pittsburgh Steelers attire and/or colors. All proceeds from the Dollar Dress event will go directly towards purchasing new footballs, cones, and flags for recess and PE. We also invite everyone to join us for a very special evening tomorrow at 6:00 PM as we host our stadium dedication ceremony right here at SMA.

Join us this Wednesday at 6pm to honor Pittsburgh Steelers Linebacker and Livonia High Alumni, Patrick Queen! Help us celebrate the dedication of our newly renovated Stadium at STEM Magnet Academy- a program of Livonia High. Patrick will be available for pictures after the dedication.
