Good afternoon STEM families,
Parent Conferences will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026 from 8:30-3:00.
If your child's teacher has not contacted you by the end of day on Friday, March 6th, a conference is not needed at this time. However, if you have any concerns you feel warrant a conference, please email or send a rooms message to the teacher and he/she will contact you to schedule a conference on the 16th.
Report cards will be sent home on Monday, March 23rd. Thank you.
Juniors and Seniors who are taking the ACT will come home with a letter regarding the date of testing. Please view the letter to determine which day your child will test. Students will test March 11th or March 24th. It is important for students to be at school and on time on the testing date! Students must score a minimum of 20 on the ACT to be eligible for TOPS at a four year university in Louisiana. Please disucss the importance of this test with your child! The higher they score the more money they earn for college!
Good afternoon STEM 8th grade parents! Exciting times are ahead for your student! We know that leaving Middle School and entering High School is a milestone and something to celebrate! It is also a time to decide which path to persue in High School. Please use the link to view resources that will help you discuss the pathway options with your 8th grader. Sudents will meet with school counselors next week to choose the path that is most interesting to them!

Applications will be accepted from January 5 through February 6 and are open to students currently in grades 2–11. Applicants must meet the school’s academic and behavioral admission requirements.
Families whose children currently attend a private school, homeschool program, or an out-of-district school must submit the following in order for the application to be reviewed:
• A current report card (at least two grading periods or the fall semester)
• A current disciplinary record
• Proper proof of residency (utility bill, lease agreement, mortgage statement, or similar document showing parent/guardian name and address)
Documents may be uploaded in the application form, emailed to sma.office@pcpsb.net, or delivered in person to our campus.
