On Thursday, September 24, 2026, the Pointe Coupee Parish School Board unanimously approved a stipend plan that includes all eligible salaried employees.

Although the Executive Order identified certain employee groups for stipend funding, Board members voiced strong support for ensuring that all eligible salaried employees are included. In addition to employees identified in the Executive Order, the Pointe Coupee Parish School Board will provide stipends to other eligible salaried employees using local funding sources.

This unanimous action demonstrates the Board’s appreciation for the commitment, professionalism, and valuable work of employees throughout the Pointe Coupee Parish School System. Every employee plays an important role in supporting students, schools, families, and the continued success of our district.
