Last week, Ms. Kim Neal traveled to Shreveport to present and educate at the statewide EMS conference, where she shared a message that is both her life's mission and her heart's deepest calling, the life-saving power of organ donation.
Ms. Neal is an EMS/EMR Instructor with Pointe Coupee Parish School Board, but her passion for organ donation education goes far beyond the classroom. For Ms. Neal, this work is deeply personal. She is the proud mother of David John Neal (her only son), whose selfless decision to donate his organs gave others the precious gift of life. In his honor, Ms. Neal has dedicated herself to spreading awareness, breaking down barriers, and making sure that no one underestimates how many lives a single donor can save.
Standing in front of a room full of EMS leaders and professionals from across Louisiana, Ms. Neal carried David's legacy with her. She is a true champion for organ donation, and we could not be more honored to call her a part of the Pointe Coupee Parish School Board family. 💙💚💛💜
