The Pointe Coupee Parish School Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Priscilla Temple as Assistant Principal of STEM Magnet Academy of Pointe Coupee. With deep roots in Pointe Coupee Parish and decades of experience in education, she brings a strong commitment to student success and academic excellence.

Mrs. Priscilla Temple's appointment as Assistant Principal of STEM Magnet Academy was officially announced at the School Board meeting on Thursday, April 23, 2026.

Mrs. Temple is a Pointe Coupee native who attended Valverda Elementary School and graduated from Livonia High School. She began her education career in Pointe Coupee Parish and has since taught in Iberville Parish, Killeen Independent School District, and Prince William County Schools in Manassas, Virginia. She earned a Bachelor's degree from Southern University and a Master's degree from Old Dominion University. With more than 33 years of experience in education, Mrs. Temple has served as an elementary teacher, middle school mathematics teacher, math specialist, adjunct professor, and summer school mathematics director. She is excited to return home to the community where her career first began and is honored to be named Assistant Principal at STEM Magnet Academy. Mrs. Temple looks forward to serving the students and continuing to support academic excellence.
