Celebrating Mrs. Carolyn Wells: Our 2025 Principal of the Year

As Mrs. Carolyn Wells prepares to pass the torch to the district’s next Principal of the Year, we take this opportunity to celebrate her service, recognize her leadership, and express our gratitude for her dedication to students, staff, community, and the district.

Being named the district’s 2025 Principal of the Year marked a special chapter in Mrs. Wells’s service. As her year as the district’s honoree draws to a close, our appreciation for her contributions continues. This transition is not simply a time to welcome a new honoree; it is also an opportunity to honor the people whose work gives this recognition its meaning.

Mrs. Wells currently serves as principal of Upper Pointe Coupee Elementary in her home community of Bachelor. That connection makes this chapter of her leadership especially meaningful. Serving a school in the community she calls home brings together her professional responsibilities and a personal connection to the people and place the school serves.

A principal’s work reaches beyond the school office. It involves supporting students, working alongside staff, and maintaining connections with families and the broader community. In honoring Mrs. Wells, we recognize her dedication to these responsibilities and the care she brings to her service.

Upper Pointe Coupee Elementary is an important part of the community it serves, and Mrs. Wells’s role places her at the heart of that connection. Her leadership offers a meaningful reminder that education is both a shared responsibility and a local commitment, one that brings students, educators, and families together.

As the district prepares to announce its next Principal of the Year, we proudly celebrate Mrs. Wells’s place among our honored school leaders. Passing the torch marks a transition in recognition, not an end to the value of her work or the gratitude of those she serves.

Mrs. Wells, thank you for your dedication to our students, your support of our staff, and your service to our community. We are proud to recognize you as our 2025 Principal of the Year and grateful for your continued leadership at Upper Pointe Coupee Elementary.

Please join us in celebrating Mrs. Carolyn Wells and honoring her contributions to our district.
