School aged children (who are eligible) will receive $120.00 to buy groceries this summer. Pointe Coupee has sent in the address list of currenly enrolled students who are eligible based on our Community Eligible Provision/Child Nutrition list of benefit eligibility matched students - You do not need to apply for SUN Bucks if you receive SNAP, FITAP, KCSP, or Medicare Benefits.
If you do not receive the above listed benefits you may still be eligible based on house hold income. To determine eligibility, you must fill out an application for free or reduced lunch. Familes without automatic eligiblity can apply at louisiana.summerebtapp.com
SUN Bucks distribution will begin Mid May. Cards will be mailed to the address on file with SNAP, FITAP, KCSP or Medicare for newly enrolled children in a plain white envelope addressed to your child. SNAP households and children who received benefits last summer will have the $120.00 added to your existing SNAP or SUN Bucks EBT card.
