On March 10th, 3rd-8th grade students at UPCE were honored and rewarded for their iReady Growth. This iReady Pep Rally was used to both reward student growth and excite students for their upcoming end-of-year iReady Diagnostic. In only four months of school, seventy-five (75) students in grades 3-8 grew one year in reading and/or math! The students with the most growth in each grade level/subject area had the chance to “pie” a faculty member in the face in front of their peers. Although students enjoyed receiving prizes and listening to the music while the pep squad danced, they especially loved to see their teachers and administrators getting pied in the face.
