STEM Students Learn About Stonehenge

The sixth grade students at STEM Magnet Academy of Pointe Coupee are starting a nonfiction reading unit, “If Stones Could Speak: Unlocking the Secrets of Stonehenge.” In order to prepare for their literacy exploration, students created replicas of the mysterious Stonehenge.  As the unit progresses, the students will dig into the archaeological aspects of Stonehenge and read many of the theories that surround its creation.
