At Rougon Elementary, Mrs. Lana LeBlanc's special education class enjoyed learning about magnetism by exploring the classroom with magnets. They searched the room to find metal objects that the magnets would be attracted to. During their scientific exploration, the students learned that file cabinets, light switches, and chair legs are all magnetic. Young kids learn by exploring, observing, and figuring out the way things work. Exploring with magnets encourages all of these things!
